1- Data recording and storage, computers allow for a massive storage of data, this can be analyzed.

2-Performance analysis,  now computers generate team stats, player stats and how to prevent injuries.

3-Performance AIDS for the Athlete and Coaching staff- GPS, technology have record all your progress or detect some disease for example Heart rate.

4-Officials and Coaches “Hawkeye”- Computers saved de play and an app detect if the call reversed or stands that help for a fair play and avoid cheating.

5-Computer software- Are designed for fitness and nutrition professionals to organize data and do reports.

6-Sport specific- In different sport have their way to check a play for example the NBA has a way to do a 360° and check it in slow motion.

7- An advertisement, when in the tv, shows that a game is coming.

8- The counter, when the show the score in the espn or in the tv.

9- They show all the stars, charts, score in some web pages for example in espn, fifa.com, nba league pass, etc.

10- The timer that decided the end of a game, a possession, time out , etc.

The ICTs are helping us in many other ways that we can’t imagine, for example in school, bank, business, transportation, sport, etc. They help us in an advertisement, in a real game, avoiding injuries, stats and even record the game, but we need to think to not abuse this way. Everywhere, anytime ICTs are around you, even showing the new shoes, a game, a bank, and political stuff. Another advantage is that now in school are using a lot of ICTs, some schools are using IPad, proyector, etc.

Education

Schools use diverse set of ICT tools to communicate, create, disseminate, store and manage information.

Tablets- tablets are small personal computers with a touch screen, allowing input without a keyboard or mouse. 

E-readers- Are electronic devices that can hold hundreds of books in digital form, and students can skilled listening.

Flipped classrooms- Involves lecture and practice at home via computer-guided instruction and interactive learning in class.

Business 

ICT can make more efficient by saving money and improving quality.

Electronic transactions- If you don’t have time to go to the bank you install the application and do transactions.

Data sharing- For example Facebook, that everyone can public whatever they want.

Online support for customers- For example when you have a problem and go to their website and make a call.

Medicine

 Some examples of how computers help doctors and hospitals deliver effective health care to patients.

Medical equipment- For example their computers, the robotic arms, etc.

Patient records- They récord the patient in their iPads and you can see them in the website.

Research- They research with computers and they know about new disease, drugs, etc.

Transport

Buying tickets- You can buy your ticket online when you are going to visit a place.

Communication- In the airports that have a tower that communicates with the pilot.

Traffic report- When you are going to El Paso and see the report of the estimate of traffic.

Conclusion 

We always use an ICT everyday, every time and everywhere, in our school, in the transportation, when we are with the doctor and the job of our dad and mom. ICT helps us to communicate, to research and make our life more easy.

Internet and Cloud Services

What is the internet? The internet is the connection of two or more networks.
What is a browser? A browser is an application program that provides a way to look and interact information on the World Wide Web. Chrome, Internet explorer, safari, firefox and opera.
What is a search engine? Is a service that allows internet users to search keywords. Google, Ask, yahoo, look smart and msn.
What is a cloud service? Any service that can storage information. iCloud, mega,Dropbox,google drive and digital ocean.

My favorite movie

 My favorite movie of 2018 is Ready Player One.

This movie is about in the year 2045, a teenager obsessed with a virtual reality game participates in the search for treasure that the creator of this imaginary world left hidden in his work. However, there are very dangerous people competing against him.

I like it because is entertainment with a lot of fun.

Networks and WWW

What is a network? A network is a group of hardware and other computing that are linked together through channels that make easy to communicate.

Which are the types of networks?

LAN

Spans a small area, it’s confined to a single room . One LAN can be connected to other LAN, a when a LAN is connected is called WAN.

MAN 

Spans over a city or a campus, they’re formed when multiple LANs are connected.

WAN

Exists over a large scale. It works in a similar fashion to LAN.

What is WWW?

It’s a network of online content In HTML and accessed via HTTP refers that can be accessed over the world. Was designed in 1996 but Tim Berners Lee.

Information and Communication Technologies

What are the Information and Communication Technologies? It refers to technologies that provide access to information through telecommunications, but focuses primarily on communication technologies. This includes the internet, wireless networks, cell phones and other communication mediums.
In which areas do people use Information and Communication Technologies? In the areas that we use is in the agriculture, environment, education, literacy, health, and goverment. For example we use it in education that provides knowledge in a wider reach, even of amount of resources. In health can support and develop high quality and affordable in information systems.
Do you use Information and Communication Technologies? yes i use it everywhere, every time while I use my cellphone to communicate and when I use my iPad during the school.
